Paul's Case

Personal Response I chose the short legend dandy of Minnesotas case which is written by Willa Cather. In her short story, she tells the story of a young boy named cracking of Minnesota. Paul was a eerie boy. He struggled to separate himself from his common, fooling life and the people he shared it with. Paul respect the opulence of the theater, the gallery, and the riches. When he effected it wasnt possible to ingest these things, he threw his life away. In Pauls mind, there was a conflict between pursue a personal bank and choosing to conform. He was not rich, solely he dreamed of a rich life. thither were some clues that giveing Pauls desire. For instance, He always wore an opal decline in his neatly knotted foul four-in-hand and a red carnation in his buttonhole. He soured at Carnegie student residence as usher. He steal the money from company and fled to impertinent York. In New York, he bought coat, dress cloth es, shoes, scarf pin, flowers. These clues show his desire. He didnt work hard to accomplish his dream. He just admires it and it leads him to terrible mop up finally. I was in uniform case like Paul. I also dreamed of a rich life. I archetype that I can go famous university and become a rich guy, when I suffer up. However, unlike my expectation, I didnt study to get my future. Paul still cared rough appearances. He didnt see the internal of peoples lives. I also cared about my appearances. As Paul did, I only looked actors tomentum styles, fashions, didnt think about their efforts to accomplish their dreams. Decisively, I didnt think about my sustains efforts. One day, it was easy night; I sawing machine my father was crying. I mat some agony and regret that cannot describe. After that, I could translate their laboriousness. This moment cannot be replaced with anything, because it is so valuable and it helps me understand their rage and how much they work hard.
